Summary Description
The Experience Partner 2 (ANZ) is a mid-level, client-facing role responsible for managing a portfolio of mid-tier government and public sector clients across Australia and New Zealand. This role spans the full customer lifecycle — from pre-sales discoveryand onboarding through long-term success, renewal, and growth.
In the ANZ context, the Experience Partner brings deep capability in community engagement, public participation, and digital engagement best practices, workingclosely with clients to improve how they plan, deliver, and measure engagement and service initiatives using Granicus platforms.
This role blends consultative client management, strategic engagement advisory, and cross-functional coordination, while proactively identifying opportunities to increase value, adoption, and expansion.
Client Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
• Manage a portfolio of up to 30 mid-tier clients with moderate complexity and ARR typically between $1.5M–$3M.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the client lifecycle, buildingtrusted advisor relationships with senior government stakeholders.
• Lead onboarding and implementation coordination, ensuring alignmentbetween client goals, engagement strategies, and Granicus solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, milestones, service usage, and engagement outcomes.
Strategic Advisory & Program Reviews
• Conduct semi-customised program and service reviews, providing strategic recommendations to improve adoption, engagement outcomes, and long-term value.
• Advise clients on best practices for community engagement, publicparticipation, and digital consultation aligned to government policy and public interest.
• Support clients in planning and maximising their allocated service hours and packages, reinforcing value and supporting strong renewal motions.
Pre-Sales & Growth Support
• Participate in pre-sales discovery sessions, contributing engagement and service expertise to solution design and proposals.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to client maturity, engagement goals, and emerging needs.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to support growth and expansion.
Engagement Services & Enablement
• Deliver elements of the services catalogue, such as:
o Capacity-building sessions for government staff
o Strategic mentoring for engagement and communications teams
• Collaborate with Product Trainers and Data/Insights teams to coordinate service delivery and ensure alignment with engagement objectives.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the services catalogue, helping shape new offerings based on client needs and engagement trends.
Community Engagement Leadership (ANZ Focus)
• Organise and support client networking sessions to foster peer learning,knowledge sharing, and stronger regional relationships.
• Support webinars, industry events, and conferences (e.g. IAP2 and similarforums), representing Granicus engagement capabilities and thought leadership.
• Stay current on local, state, and federal community engagement legislation,trends, challenges, and emerging practices across ANZ.
• Provide internal enablement and knowledge-sharing to help upskill Granicus teams on contemporary community engagement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of customer success principles, SaaS business models, and long-term account management.
• Practical experience advising government organisations on community engagement and public participation.
• Familiarity with digital engagement platforms (preferably Granicus solutions) and best-practice utilisation to achieve engagement outcomes.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and facilitate complex discussions.
• Ability to translate client needs into actionable strategies, service plans, and engagement roadmaps.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce), Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, and project management systems (e.g. Wrike).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
Experience/Credentials:
• 4–6 years of experience in consulting, customer success, account management, or community engagement roles.
• Experience working with government or public sector clients in Australia or New Zealand strongly preferred.
• IAP2 Certificate of Engagement or demonstrated equivalent experience is highly desirable.
• Experience contributing to strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, or advisory-led service delivery.

This role is typically performed remotely or in a home-office environment, using video collaboration tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Travel is expected up to approximately 15%, primarily for client engagements and industry events within ANZ.
