The Granicus Experience Group (GXG) is Granicus’ experience design agency, a cross-functional team of strategists, analysts, communicators and Granicus technology experts focused on customer experience and digital communications. A successful Manager, Data & Insights, has proven experience in leading a successful team of digital marketing analysts, data scientists and business intelligence analysts, including capabilities development, business operations leadership and personnel direction. In this role, you will lead teams and individual contributors to develop Data & Insights practice standards, expand our business capabilities and offerings, and mature our operations to scale. You will also lead cross-functional teams to best serve Granicus customers.

Strong candidates will have a proven track record of connecting and translating customer needs into reporting or data solution requirements, developing comprehensive customer experience insights and reporting, and conveying actionable insights and optimization recommendations in a cohesive, customer-friendly manner. Candidates should have experience leading teams in analyzing multi-channel outreach and segment behavior. Top candidates will have strong experience in building actionable, client-facing dashboards incorporating multiple data sources.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

Lead analysts and data scientists to design and deliver meaningful insights, reporting and dashboarding for our GXC and GXG customers.

· Serve as a customer-facing leader in how data drives a more efficient or improved digital service delivery.

· Lead delivery on sophisticated analytics platform dashboard solutions for Federal, State and Local government clients on their email/SMS sending, websites, surveys, etc., ensuring delivery is meeting client goals and Granicus strategic goals

· Oversee Data & Insights reporting and data work on Federal, State and Local clients

· Contribute to solution development for dashboard solutions, including seller enablement, technical support, demo creation, pitches, pre-sales etc.

· Develop the Data & Insights practice services, solutions, client approach and processes

· Oversee all aspects of customer-facing data or reporting needs for GXC and GXG.

· Key leader on cross-functional efforts, including with product, engineering, data science, implementation and other technical teams across Granicus, influencing the strategic direction of the solution, aligned to Granicus goals.

· Guide individual contributors in career pathing through monitoring and evaluation of performance, demonstration of initiative, and company growth

· Collaborate with GXG, GXC, and Product leadership to shape development of new services based on customer demand and insight

· Develop, grow and manage strategic customer relationships

· Support GXG team members and other department resources to manage the scope, timeline, and delivery of data-driven deliverables.

· Represent Granicus in speaking roles, panel participation, and internal or external engagements

· Ensure appropriate utilization metrics for the Data & Insights team members according to guidance from operations and leadership to maximize profitability.

· Monitor, manage, and ensure the team successfully attains key performance metrics, including Utilization, Project Profitability, Resource Forecasting, Revenue Recognition, Revenue Forecasting, and Project Health.

· Expert of leveraging data from digital communications tools and identifying the key metrics that matter, including gleaning insights from across the Granicus family of products of email marketing, online collaboration, website content management systems, online forms, and social networks to the next new thing

· Expert in leading teams in the data collection, organization, analysis and visualization through QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.

· Experience and/or enthusiasm for working with government

· Appreciate data and enjoy telling stories with data

· Self-motivated, flexible problem solver, who can keep the trains running (managing the routine) but can also adapt quickly and find alternative ways to get work done

· Ability to act as a trusted, strategic adviser to top professionals; experienced in collaborating with and managing expectations of senior business leaders

· Exceptional interpersonal skills for internal and external relationship building at all levels of the organization, including cross-departmental colleagues, C-suite and executive or strategic customers

· Ability to create and thrive in a lean, self-propelling, proactive environment

· Prior to the shutdown for the Covid-19 pandemic, GXG staff were expected to be available for on-site customer meetings with our federal, state and local customers. This included travel in some instances. As our customers' expectations and responses to the pandemic continue to evolve, GXG team members may once again be expected to be available for in-person customer meetings.

Experience/Credentials:

· 7+ years of experience in digital marketing analysis preferably in a digital/social agency serving government or at a government agency

· 2+ years of experience in leading teams to ensure quality assurance and execution against strategic direction of project deliverables including data configuration and management, link tracking strategies, custom dashboards, ongoing reporting, and presentations for customers.
