Job Summary

Summary Description Granicus' Swagit Productions team is hiring a Video Producer for our remote team in India. The video producer's primary responsibility is to ensure the production of high-quality video content for Public Sector customers. In addition to core responsibilities related to video direction, candidates will be expected to take on additional duties as required by the business. These may include indexing content, conducting quality assurance checks, and supporting operational needs as they arise. Shifts may vary during the week. Please note that you must be fully fluent in English to be considered for this role, and all resume submissions must be in English. Additionally, you must reside in India to be eligible for this position. Candidates living in other countries cannot be considered at this time.

  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-moving environment 
  • Strong time management skills, the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in line with business requirements and deadlines while working remotely.
  • Experience with video direction or production 
  • Experience working in a remote environment and the ability to maintain effective communication with team members across various time zones 
  • Access to a quiet and professional environment for focused transcription work, free of background noise and distractions
  • Comfortable using digital communication tools to collaborate with teams and customers. 
  • Familiar with remote work tools such as cloud storage and virtual meeting software 
  • Proven ability to direct multi-camera live video productions, ensuring high-quality visual and the ability to meet the customer expectations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues quickly during live streams 
  • Ability to interpret analytics and viewer feedback to continuously improve streaming quality and engagement 
  • Strong organizational skills for coordinating schedules, resources, and post-production tasks 
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stakes live environments 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Willingness to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving industry trends.

• Ideally, one year of hands-on experience in managing live video productions, including coordinating multi-camera setups and ensuring all visual elements meet client standards. 

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges swiftly during live streaming events, minimizing downtime and maintaining broadcast quality.

• Experience making timely, well-informed decisions in high-pressure environments, consistently delivering successful outcomes in live production scenarios.

• Skilled in utilizing remote collaboration tools, such as cloud storage platforms and virtual meeting software, to communicate efficiently with teams and clients across different time zones.

• Proficient in both Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite, leveraging these platforms for document management, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Successfully produced and directed video content for diverse platforms, adapting production techniques to meet the unique requirements of each medium.

• Strong communication skills developed through remote work experience, facilitating seamless collaboration and feedback between team members and stakeholders.

• Consistently maintained a dedicated, distraction-free workspace to ensure high-quality transcription and focused project execution.

• Demonstrated flexibility in working hours to meet project deadlines and accommodate business needs, contributing to reliable team performance.

 

Other Job Information:

• Shift work required - 12.30 am to 10.30 am IST / 10.30 pm to 8.30 am IST

• The position requires onsite support for one of Granicus office locations.
