Granicus' Swagit Productions team is hiring a QA Specialist for our remote team in Costa Rica. The video producer's primary responsibility is to ensure the deliveryof high-quality video content for Public Sector customers.

Granicus' Swagit Productions team is seeking a QA Specialist for our remote team in Costa Rica. The main duty of the Quality Assurance Specialist is to verify the accuracy and quality of video content before it is delivered to Public Sector customers.

In addition to core responsibilities related to quality assurance, candidates will be expected to take on additional duties as required by the business. These may include indexing content and supporting operational needs as they arise. Shifts may vary during the week. 

Please note that you must be fully fluent in English to be considered for this role, and all resume submissions must be in English. Additionally, you must reside in Costa Rica to be eligible for this position. Candidates living in other countries cannot be considered at this time.

• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Review video content submitted by public sector clients, identifying errors, inconsistencies, technical issues, and audio or visual defects.
• Verify that all videos meet Granicus standards, customer specifications, and any other documented compliance requirements.
• Record and document issues in comprehensive reports, highlighting trends and patterns for senior leadership.
• Manage work queues and backlogs efficiently by prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely resolution while maintaining an organized workflow.
• Operate effectively under tight deadlines to ensure compliance with customer regulations and deliver video content promptly without compromising attention to detail.
• Collaborate across functions with the video production team to continuously enhance processes.
• Respond to feedback and implement necessary revisions based on internal or customer requests.

• Strong command of the English language with excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills. * Bilingual employees will need this skillset in Spanish.
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong time management skills, the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in line with business requirements and deadlines while working remotely.
• Knowledge of FTP clients.
• Knowledge of non-linear/linear video editing systems.
• Experience with Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Clear understanding of video formatting.
